Job Summary

 

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Team. The role of the Project Coordinator is to proactively aid Project Managers in the organization of orders by following a prescribed set of rules; Follow standard methods & techniques.

 

Job Duties

  • Assisting with the management certain aspects of contracted projects, achieving customer service standards, and ensuring quality standards are adhered to & Corporate monthly performance goals met
  • Working collaboratively with all necessary internal/external parties to assist in the scope, review and development accurate estimates, recommend revisions to the final design
  • Representing the interests of MechoSystems and the dealer, monitoring progress, risks and issues
  • Assuring timely & fact-based feedback to customer questions and issues; documenting and communicating any deficiencies that would preclude us from meeting objectives, schedules, budget or warranted specifications
  • Developing and maintaining schedules; specific to material requisition, shade fabrication and material delivery
  • Planning sequence of work in accordance with Construction Schedule committed dates Preparing and maintaining documentation for cost/expenditure of the project, sell price of the project and any particular payment applications; submitting change order, pro forma invoicing, etc
  • Liaison between Purchasing, Production Planning, Engineering, CAD, Accounting dept’s. for internal resource coordination; setting meetings and agenda, assigning functional responsibilities and tracking performance against agreed commitments
  • Assuring accurate order entry, monitoring proper release of shop drawing submittal for timeliness and accuracy & shades against entered orders, tracking ship dates to ensure meeting commitments to customer

Job Summary

To maximize our service performance while minimizing our inventory investment on select product groups and/or product lines. This will be achieved by a combination of detailed planning in association with high level or strategic planning.

 

Job Duties

Service (40%)

  • Ensure materials are available to support customer requirements while minimizing the freight costs.
  • Monitor material shortages, identify and implement corrective actions
  • Keep material availability dates updated and accurate
  • Monitor capacity requirements both short and long term
  • Work with Forecasting, Sales & Marketing to develop accurate forecasts
  • Continuously look for service opportunities
  • Overall product line responsibility for service levels
  • Manage the backlog by facility to ensure our service objectives are achieved

Inventory (30%)                           

  • Work with Purchasing on reducing lead times, minimums and price break quantities.
  • Provide forecasts to major suppliers.
  • Follow-up on rejects to ensure they are expeditiously dispositioned
  • Continuously look for inventory opportunities
  • Monitor “aged” inventories to identify opportunities to reduce and prevent
  • Overall product line responsibility for inventory levels
  • Get all obsolete inventory dispositioned and ultimately consumed, sold or scrapped

Maintenance (20%)

  • Create work orders and purchase orders in accordance with our service and inventory objectives
  • Review all ECR’s/ECN’s and take appropriate action
  • Monitor and ensure all lead times are accurate.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of plan bills.
  • Work with Product Management to most efficiently and effectively introduce and exit programs

People, Process, Culture (10%)

  • Review procedures and practices to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Job Summary

 

Project Sales Engineers combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products. The emphasis of the work varies depending on the level of technical knowledge needed to sell a particular product or service.

Project Sales Engineer are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre- and after-sales advice. They liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as research and development, design, estimating, purchasing, production and quality control, as well as senior company managers.

 

Job Duties

  • Providing bidding strategy based on specific requirements of the project.
  • Qualifying bid documents.
  • Preparing tender response documents.
  • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
